Aircraft Engineering Study Tips & Tricks

How to study efficiently in preparation  for EASA examinations?

1.Go through EASA syllabus topics by learning them before entering your lectures because it will be easier to acquire knowledge in this way as you are well prepared to ask any questions that you may have in your mind

2.Understand topics slowly as you progress your way in mastering those subtopics. It will take time for you to understand the concepts because you may find it hard because in some reference book/course notes, they dont provide good explanation of the concepts and they assumed that you know the basics. So,spent most of your time maybe in the weekends to understand bit by bit.

3.Researching and understanding of concepts. This is very very important,as you may not understand some concepts from previous lectures/notes and you would need a further explanation to grab the concept.Researching here means,to browse through the web or any reference book that you have in hand.If possible, please prepare yourself with alot of reference books to look through because looking at only one wouldn't help solve your problem.Few tips that you might use:
-Watch youtube videos with good demonstration
-Use alot of reference books and resources
-Compare from one source to another
-Get help from instructors/friends or people who mastered that module
-Take most of your time researching during your weekends
-Never give up if u failed to understand

4.Do notes of your own either handwritten or do it via laptop.Keep it as organised and neatly, dont lose them and be sure to add any additional notes as you progress thru your research to keep it up to date with the information. When doing notes, please ensure that you write notes in your own words, this will help you understand even better! Try it!!

5.Understanding the concept again before doing any EASA questions.Such that you connect the dots that you had learn ,and relate them with other aviation profession so that u are able to know better than other students based on the knowledge you had known

6.Do EASA questions, again again and again till you vomit.Make sure you get perfect scores. This is to make sure that you understood very well on what you are learning. The key here is to be consistent in doing questions.I suggest you do question at night because at night we starting to feel abit sleepy so studying at night is a risk.

7.Summarising up all topic just to make sure that you understand it completely

8.Now it's your turn to teach people! Yes that's right recent study suggests,if you teach people it will enhance your understanding on certain topics.

Hope this steps of mine help all of you in your examinations! Goodluck!!
