Image
Things about neuroscience and psychology that you MUST know! Soooo what exactly is neuroscience and psychology? Rumours had it,saying that people who are psychologist have mental health and are helping crazy people! Wow! What a myth! But you got em all wrong! Here are what they actually are! Neuroscience-> A study of human brain complexity Psychology-> A study of human behaviour In high school, basics of neuroscience has been taught to us which is the simpliest cell of a neuron, not more than that.To be honest, there is more than meets the eye. Those neurons aren't just a cell but it is what shapes our reality and consciousness views of the world! This field though has its scientific research origins, also serves as GOOD and also BAD to the world. What would be the bad and the good? Lets start off with the good side! Me,as an aircraft engineering student benefit alot from learning both neuroscience and psychology. It teaches me to understand more of ou

Recommended Pathways for Aviation Education in Malaysia

Hi,Selamat Hari Malaysia, we would like to advise you as young souls where probably you are from fresh SPM leavers or Diploma/Degree leavers or anyone who want to take up aviation courses. Before that, please note that aviation industry in malaysia is small and unstable at times. Times can go bad and good depending on industry. Currently, Pilots are mostly sought after for local airlines as global shortage rises. So, don't get cheated on marketing tricks told by education institution in social media or education fairs saying aviation is the highest pay for engineering and so on. We do notice many would fall into their trap without consulting the aviation experts and seniors who are working in the field itself. First thing before signing up is to do research. I would like to share you my research, knowledge and experience for you guys to face minimal risk later on.  PILOTING  My advise is the best way now is for AIRLINE CADETSHIP by Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia and Singapore A

Depression is caused by social media??

Written by: Feeq The cure to depression, and other mental disorders by Knowing Thyself Most of us in this modern society faces depression, stress, anxieties, fears.Number of suicides are also increasing due to the fact that they don't know how to deal with it.Problems arise in daily lives, and humans are fleeing from from em rather than fixing or facing the problem.            Back in stone age millenia, humans depend on their survival instincts for their survival in life, otherwise they aren't able to escape from the dangers of this world. Thanks to our ancestors survival instincts,we are able to reproduce and develop into a better human being. Those survival instincts is what we scientists, call it as the ''fight-or-flight-response''.When we sense danger,we flee from that situation right away without the need of thinking, otherwise it could harm us very badly. That is why, when we are in a stressful situation we act right away without further thinking.Sometim

How to learn faster? Using the Feynnman technique

Image
''If you can't understand it simply, you don't understand it well enough"   ~Albert Einstein Well said einstein! Now all of us might come into wonder of what is he trying to speak of.Thing is,when it comes to understanding of questions that were asked in examinations, most of us failed to understand the questions thus answering something that isn't related with the question. So how are we able to avoid this?Easy! Feynman Technique is one of the best techniques ever used in history!Essential for learning students who have difficulty in studies so here's how; History -Named after famous physicist Richard Feynman -Known as the Great Explainer -Won nobel prize in Quantum Thermodynamics -Technique involves in explaining ''plain'',''simple language'',''targeted learning'' Things you need -Reference books(lots of them) -Piece of paper for writing notes -Pencil/pen -Had already done reading a topic rel

SIA Cadet Pilot Preliminary Interview (Stage 1) Experiences

Image
Hi again, I am going to show u guys my experience attending the SIA cadetship preliminary interview (stage 1) held at Kuala Lumpur. Seriously, I didn't expect an invitation email in a sudden as I applied this position quite a some time ago in February 2018 for fun haha. I knew earlier its going to be tough journey to the end as I read from online forums that people saying Degree grads have a better chance than diploma holders like me to be shortlisted to the end. So, why not I try and see. If you don't try, u never know your luck. ( My advise: To join SQ better take up Degree in Engineering related such as Aerospace,Mechanical, Electrical etc so you have better chance for this cadetship )  It was around 11am saturday 21st April 2018 just when I woke up from sleep. I saw this email notification from Andrew Ling. I was shocked to see this. And 1 of my friend just got it too haha. We both diploma holders btw. Quickly, I was in joy at the moment and went to prepare do

SINGAPORE AIRLINES CADET PILOT (MALAYSIANS)

Image
Singapore Airlines B787 Dreamliner 9V-SCB Good day aviators, here is our neighbouring flag carrier SIA had been advertising their cadet pilot programme (ab initio) for Malaysians. SIA is the only sponsored scheme unlike MAB and AirAsia where you have to take up Bank Loans. Competition is stiff as they are receiving many applications and the cream of the crop are chosen to fly their flag. So, to stand out, you must have an impressive CV and stand out from the rest of the crowd. They are in shortage of pilots to cater as many of them left for Chinese and Middle Eastern carriers from the latest news. As more aircrafts such as A350 and B787 being delivered to replace the existing fleet, they require more pilots too. Last opening was on 2011 for Malaysians and after long freeze for 3years from 2012 to 2015 due to sluggish industry and then on August 2015, they started hiring for locals. On October 2017, they started hiring Malaysians after 5 years. They couldnt find suitable cand
